Where do I install the module?

On your new, destination PrestaShop store. The module connects to your old store and imports the data into PrestaShop.

Can I upgrade an old PrestaShop store to PrestaShop 9 or 8?

Yes. Install a fresh PrestaShop 9 or 8, add the MoverPro upgrade module and move your catalog, customers, orders and settings from the old store.

Will my customers need new passwords?

It depends on the route. The PrestaShop upgrade module can keep passwords, and the Magento module lets customers sign in with their migrated passwords while the module stays enabled. After a Shopify or Wix migration, customers reset their password once.

Is my SEO data migrated?

The PrestaShop upgrade and WooCommerce modules migrate SEO data, and the upgrade module includes friendly URLs and redirects. The Magento module migrates product and category URL keys. Migrating SEO data keeps your metadata and URLs; it can’t guarantee search rankings.

Is my theme migrated?

No. The modules move store data. Set up your PrestaShop theme, payments, shipping and other integrations before launch.

Should I back up my store first?

Yes. Back up your destination store before migrating. The clean-target option deletes existing data in the destination store.
