Store migration FAQ
What do I need to start?
An account, access to your source store and access to your Shopify store. MoverPro guides you through the connection method for your platform.
Is there a free demo?
Yes. A demo can move up to 100 products, 50 customers, 50 orders and 10 categories or pages into Shopify, where your source connector supports them, so you can review the results before running the full migration.
Which platforms can I move from today?
WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento 2, Squarespace, Wix and GoDaddy to Shopify are available as pilots. Data coverage varies by connector. Wix currently migrates physical products and categories; customers and orders are not migrated. Review your platform’s coverage before you start.
How much does a migration cost?
It depends on your store size. Stores with up to 100 products, 50 customers and 50 orders migrate free. Larger stores pay one price for the whole store, from $3.99 up to $69, based on the tier that fits their products, customers and orders. You see the price before you start.
Do I need to enter payment details to try it?
No. Planning and demos are free and don't need a card.
Is it a subscription?
No. A full migration is a one-time price.
What can MoverPro move?
Categories, products (with variants and images), customers, orders and pages. Exactly what's supported depends on the source connector.
Can I pause a migration?
Yes. You can pause and resume a running migration and follow its progress live.
How do I know everything arrived?
Every migration ends with a verification report that lists each record and whether it was written to Shopify.
Will this change my current store?
No. MoverPro only reads from your source store, using a read-only API key.
Can it delete anything in Shopify?
Only if you turn on “Clear target store first” for a full migration and confirm it. Otherwise it only adds records.
